Die Idee, auf welcher die Entstehung dieses Buches beruht, ist alt und hat mehrere Erzeuger. Alles fing damit an, dass Freunde von Marie-Louise von Franz und der Jung'schen Psychologie wiederholt die Möglichkeit erwogen, einen Sammelband milt den Arbeiten, die sie sonst nur bei beschränkten Freundeskreisen vorstellen durften, zu veröffentlichen. Der Druck dieses Bandes sollte den schöpferischen Interessen des Verfassers und der von ihm gewählten prima materia so treu wie möglich bleiben. Es ist ein glücklicher Zufall, dass wir in Hern Victor Orenga einen wohlgesinnten Verleger fanden, der die einzelnen Autoren mit seinem Vertrauen unterstützte. Dies nicht zuletzt auch indem er auf jegliche Zensur durch einen Lektor verzichtete.Es ist auch ein Zufall, dass dieses Buch im Jahre des 75. Jubiläums von Marie­Louise von Franz ans Licht kommt. Wir sind sehr glücklich und freuen uns sehr, es ihr als Geschenk überreichen zu dürfen.

The concept of this publication was conceived long ago. It originated from several sources within a circle of friends of Marie-Louise von Franz and of the Psycholoy of C. G. Jung. We repeatedly pondered the possibility of publishing an anthology of essays which we had only presented to each other. It was wished that the printing of the articles in this edition would remain as true as possible to the creative urges of each author and of the prima materia chosen by him or her. We have had the great fortune of finding Mr. Víctor Orenga as a publisher who supported every one of us by his trust, not the least by dispensing with any censorship on the part of his editor.It is also a fortuitous coincidence, that this book is born in the year of Marie­Louise von Franz's 75th. birthday. We are very happy to present it to her as a gesture of our profound gratitude.

La idea de esta publicación fue concebida hace tiempo. Se originó de varias fuentes dentro de un círculo de amigos de Marie-Louise von Franz y de la Psicología de C. G. Jung. Nosotros valoramos la posibilidad de publicar una antología de ensayos que hasta entonces sólo se habían presentado entre nosotros. Fue un deseo que la impresión de los artículos en esta edición permaneciera tan fiel como fuera posible a los impulsos creativos de cada autor y a la prima materia escogida por él o ella.
